Physician’s Assistant/Nurse PractitionerOptions Medical Weight LossFull-time, Chicagoland
Overview:
Options is growing and in need of Nurse Practitioners to work in the Chicagoland area. We have many new locations opening and we are looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a valid state license to join our talented team and deliver exceptional patient care. NP will work under the supervision of the clinic’s Medical Director. Under general direction, the NP provides patient care; conducts physical exams; completes health history summary; documents patient’s progress and assists with patient care management.
Responsibilities
Duties Include:
· Conducts physical examinations.
· Perform blood draws, and order Quest supplies
· Orders and reviews laboratory studies as well as diagnostic procedures.
· Dispense and inventory controlled substances and other medications within the clinic.
· Manage patients’ monthly medication, goals and offer counseling is needed.
· Reviews patient’s progress and manages patient care accordingly.
· Documents patient progress notes in our EMR.
· Obtains and review’s patient’s medical history information relevant to patient care.
· Provides training to non-clinical staff as needed.
· Performs other clinical duties as required.
· Must attend all further education courses for Options providers.
· Perform all MA duties until one is hired
· Supervise up to two MA’s
· Work with the MA staff to manage patient retention.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
· Must have a valid IL Medical license.
· Must maintain a healthy lifestyle
· Must be willing to work Saturday mornings.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Ability to Relocate:
- Strongsville, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required)
