Part Time w/ Benefits – PA Orthopedic Surgery
Catholic Health System is seeking an Orthopedic Surgical Physician Assistant to work part time at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Kenmore, NY.
Job Summary:
The Physician Assistant is a dependent health care provider who, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients. All duties and responsibilities must be accomplished with the guidelines of the established protocols and in accordance with the Physician Written Practice Agreement as required by New York State.
Key Job Features
· Part Time: 10 hour shifts with on call, weekend and holiday coverage
· Compensation range: $51,662.52 – $77,488.84 annually for part time (0.50666 FTE)

Education:
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree as a Physician Assistant
- Board Certification by NCCPA required
Experience:
- One (1) year surgical & orthopedic experience preferred
Knowledge, Skill & Ability:
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a stressful situation
Working Conditions:
- Respond to surgical on-call emergencies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $52.49 – $78.43 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
