Full Job Description
Our anesthesia practice is seeking a full time Physician Assistant to coordinate preoperative/pre-anesthesia clinical process for our patients. All work is done from our administrative office in Lincoln Park and there is no direct patient care.
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH PREOPERATIVE PROCESS. Candidates with strong background in cardiology are preferred.
Position involves:
-Reviewing medical history of patients undergoing anesthesia
-Reviewing medical records, preoperative evaluations (clearances), labs, and diagnostics tests
-Identifying risk factors for further review and discussion with patients, anesthesia providers and patient’s healthcare providers
-Obtaining and interpreting preoperative tests/labs according to current preoperative testing guidlines
Hours are 8am-4:30pm. Monday-Friday. No evenings, no weekends, no call.

Pay: From $52.00 per hour
