*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a teaching hospital environment. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, with a focus on delivering compassionate care while adhering to HIPAA regulations. *Responsibilities* – Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories. – Perform diagnostic procedures such as suturing and dermabrasion as needed. – Assist in triage and emergency medicine situations to ensure timely patient care. – Collaborate with physicians in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients. – Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options. – Engage in research initiatives to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and practices. – Maintain accurate data management for patient records and treatment outcomes. – Provide infectious disease care as part of a comprehensive healthcare approach. *Qualifications* – Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or equivalent program. – Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure. – Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality. – Experience in emergency medicine or infectious disease care is preferred. – Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach patients effectively. – Proficiency in performing clinical procedures such as suturing and dermabrasion is a plus. – Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $103,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
