Family Medical Center 26, PC is a small Medical Office in Van Nuys, CA. We have been serving the community for over 30 years and our goal is to Provide medical care for members of our community.
Our work environment includes experienced staff and a very flexible schedule for our PA or NP’s.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions- Prescribe medications and other treatments based on patient needs- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:- Valid Physician Assitant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice- Master’s degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the designated specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Pediatrics, Adult-Gerontology)- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment modalities- Proficiency in airway management, tube feeding, ICD-9 coding, and infection control protocols- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 14 per week
