Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a busy primary care clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality healthcare to a population of adult and geriatric patients. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of symptoms
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and clinic policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in California
  • Certification from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in using modern computer-based EMR/EHR systems
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $158,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
