Full Job Description
Successful and growing Fertility Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) or Physician Assistant (P.A.) to join our team in San Diego. The ideal candidate may have previous experience in IVF or Women’s Health Care.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provides comprehensive fertility assessments and presents findings to the physician. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat new and existing patient’s medical and surgical conditions as directed by the physicians. Obtain patient satisfaction with empathetic, clear, and professional communication. Perform sonogram and saline infused sonograms and IUIs. Perform FDA compliant physical examinations. Gestational surrogate screening and medical record reviews. Use prescriptive authority to write prescription medicines for patients. Write medical notes in the patient’s EMR charts indicating patient status, treatment & procedures. Conduct follow-up patient care. Provide infertility related education to patients. On call rotation schedule.
Skill sets required:
- Certification as a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Required
- Infertility/IVF experience or Women’s Healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide patients with compassionate and empathetic care
- Active listener
- Provide patients with easily understood feedback and instructions
- Strong computer skills, experience with EMR systems
- Management experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
