Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of symptoms- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Provide health coaching and education to patients on disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyle choices- Perform procedures within the scope of practice, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) system (eClinicalWorks)- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care
Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant- Experience working in a variety of healthcare settings, including primary care, pediatrics, nursing homes, emergency rooms (ER), or other relevant specialties- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and data management practices- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
