    $10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) Spine Access Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for an ARNP, Nurse Practitioner or PA-C, Physician Assistant Certified. WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 100% FTE
  • Days, M-F 80 hrs every two weeks DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Complete spine care at Harborview Medical Center, dual clinics with The Spine Center and Neurological Surgery Clinic. Located in the Ninth & Jefferson building across from Harborview Medical Center, the Spine Center at Harborview provides a cost-effective multidisciplinary approach to spine care. Our goal is not just pain relief. We work to maximize the restoration of function. Treatment options range from exercises to major surgery, and we match each patient with the right providers and treatment plan. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide clinical expertise to patients and their families
  • Serves as a resource person for health care providers
  • Participate in research and teaching programs
  • Work independently under the general guidance of the attending physicians, chief resident, and department nurse manager REQUIREMENTS:

  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing AND Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges AND National certification as a Nurse Practitioner AND ACLS certification OR
  • Physician Assistant: Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington with national certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA). Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the Organized Medial Staff of the hospital under Medical Staff By-Laws for hospital-based positions AND ACLS certification
