Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for carrying out the physician’s orders regarding administration of medications for Hormone Replacement Therapy, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide weight loss injections. This individual is also responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record – including any paper documentation and all entries into the electronic health record system. This is part-time contracted position and will require minimum of 8 hours /week commitment (unless otherwise agreed upon), 15 min appointments per patient, with compensation per patient meeting. All patients will be pre-screened in office prior to appointment.
Responsibilities and Duties
o Perform patient screenings, history and physical examinations
o Update patient records and check records for accuracy
o Analyze lab values and diagnostic tests and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
o Address issues that could arise with patients; identify appropriate
treatment including prescribing for each situation
o Determine effectiveness of treatment plans with documentation of patient care outcomes
o Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals
o Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
o Obtain medical clearance as appropriate for complex medical health history patients
o Prescribe pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic therapies
Qualifications and Required Licensure and Certifications
o Degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician assistant program
**Hormone or integrative medicine experience is a must
o National Certification by an Approved Board preferred
o DEA License
o Colorado license
o 3+ years’ nursing experience
o Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
o Excellent follow-up and organizational skill
o Proficient in Electronic Health Records
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $96,284.00 – $103,802.00 per year
