Full Job Description
Private medical / clinical research company in Denver – Aurora Metro area seeking for an enthusiastic Nurse Practioner or Physician – Assistant ( PA) to join our clinical research team as a sub-investigator / clinical research coordinator.
Job descriptions hightlight but not limited to:
- Provide full scope primary care services to adult, and senior patients
- Examine diagnose and treat patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses
- Counsel and educate patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns
- Complete timely and thorough documentation using EMR system
- Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures
- Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provide advice on follow up
- Responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services
- Maintain quality of care standards as defined by the practice
– Perform clinical research sub – investigator duties as the following : but not limited to :
- Reviewing and comprehending research protocols
- Recruit patients into research studies
- Coordination of clinical research to ensure research activities comply federal guidelines and institutional policy
- Conducting study visits and documenting per protocol requirement
- Working closely with compliance officers facilitating and reporting on clinical audits
- Performing drug accountability, patient management, recruitment, patient interfacing, source data collection/ entering, and maintaining regulatory documents follow FDA guidelines
- Phlebotomy / Human Bio sample collection, lab processing and shipping
Qualifications:
- Active unrestricted NP or PA License in Colorado
- Prescribing authority or ability to obtain prior to employment
- DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
- 1 year minimum work in clinical research field or related medical field
- Proficient in phlebotomy and injections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
Compensation is to be determined based on individual relevant work experience.
Hours range from 24 hours to 40 hours a week. To Be Determined.
