Full Job Description
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders and diseases- Provide consultations and follow-up care for patients- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans- Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal conditions and treatment options- Stay up-to-date with advancements in gastroenterology research and treatment modalities
Requirements:
–One to two years of GI experience preferred
– Board certification or eligibility- Valid medical license to practice in Florida state- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Skills:- Knowledge of utilization review processes and procedures- Ability to triage patients based on severity of symptoms or conditions- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques and management- Familiarity with laboratory testing and interpretation of results- Experience using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth- Knowledge of alimentary tract disorders and their management in acute care settings

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
