Full Job Description
Well-regarded Orthopedic Surgeon with a Sports Fellowship is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant.
- This Physician is one of the top doctors within the New York City area specializing in sports.
- Patient base includes all levels of athletes (professionals to weekend warriors) as well as general population.
- The position is two days in the OR and the balance is in the clinic.
- The new Physician Assistant will provide a mix of surgical first assist consultation and patient follow-up and education.
- The Physician Assistant will perform sin-visc and cortisone injections, pre and post H&P’s, write scripts and review and order lab tests.
- The Physician Assistant will run a parallel clinic to the doctor.
- The position does not have any weekends and minimal evenings.
- This doctor prefers some orthopedic experience but will train the right candidate (minimum of having done an orthopedic rotation is required).
- The candidate must be NCCPA-Certified, have a NY license, be highly motivated, have excellent people skills, be hard working and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- The location is in Manhattan with up to six days per month working in their Bergen County, New Jersey location.
- Base salary: Excellent compensation and a full benefits package provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $132,000.00 – $185,000.00 per year
