Physician Assistant (Cardiology,/Neurology/Oncology)
Location:Brooklyn, New York 11219
Position Type:On-site | Full-Time
Schedule:
CARDIOLOGY
- 12-hour night shifts or flexible shifts
- 3 days a week (12 shifts per month)
- Must work 2 weekends per month
ONCOLOGY and NEUROLOGY
- 5 days a week, either 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, with no weekends required
Pay:CARDIOLOGY: $133k-$170k per year (based on experience)Union role with full benefits package, including Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability
ONCOLOGY and NEUROLOOGY: $139k-$176k depending on experience 1199 Union role with benefits (Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-term Disability)

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as outlined in the “Physician Assistant Delineation of Privileges” after training and approval by the Chairman.
- Order diagnostic tests with approval from supervising physician, and communicate results to patients alongside the physician.
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans, perform procedures, and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
- Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures, including pacemaker placement, electrophysiology studies, and intracoronary interventions.
- Participate in patient care rounds, teaching conferences, and ensure adherence to departmental policies and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiology/Neurolgoy/Oncology
- Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
- Active license to practice in New York State
- Board certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Valid DEA number
