Our community-based organization in Hartford County CT has a great new opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our outpatient adult clinic in a collaborative work environment. You would be working alongside our other Nurse Practitioners and physicians to enhance your clinical skills. Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Hartford County CT
Compensation: $105,000 to $150,000, SOW + full benefits 401k plan, PTO, Medical dental, vacation, life insurance, holiday pay, loan repayment
Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:
Performing routine physical examinations of patients
Checking patient’s vital signs, blood pressure, and reading lab results
Working closely with our attending physicians and APRN’s
Prescribing necessary medication when needed
Conducting follow up visits and reading MRI results
Speaking with family members about patient medical health
Referring patients to other specialists if needed
Documenting all necessary results in EMR System
Requirements for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:
Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner school program (MSN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Program
Active DEA license
Preferred 1 year of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience
CT NP or PA license
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately, not quickly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 – $150,425.00 per year
