Full Job Description
Position Summary:Physician Assistant will provide all aspects of care including chronic conditions, well care and acute care to patients in a cost effective manner with a focus on quality outcomes. The APP acts as a role model to facilitate and enhance the development of quality nursing care through evidence based practice.
Must be able to obtain Medical Staff Privileges as a First Assist as responsibilities include inpatient, outpatient and first assist.
Position Requirements:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills.
