Full Job Description
Our healthcare provider is currently seeking Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team. This position will be based out of our offices in a suburban area and will require working with children in a primary care setting. The successful applicant for this position will be a self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a medical team. Recent graduates are welcome and will be trained.
Responsibilities:
- Be direct and honest with patients of all ages.
- Develop treatment plans that address both physical and mental health needs of patients.
- Manage medications and other treatment plans to ensure patients’ safety and well-being.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Manage patient flow within practice.
- Manage insurance companies for billing purposes.
- Manage patient flow within the practice by assigning or reassigning patients to different healthcare professionals or departments.
- Work with patients and other health care personnel to make sure that appointments are scheduled, new patients are registered, and insurance companies are billed.
- Conduct research into diseases, diagnostic techniques, and treatments for the purpose of developing, improving, or implementing new approaches to healthcare.
- Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Travel to cover other clinics may be necessary. We can discuss this during your interview

Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
