- The successful candidate must be a Pediatric Physician Assist; previous experience in a surgical office environment helpful but not required.
- The Division of Pediatric General, Thoracic and Minimally Invasive Surgery at St. Christopher’s Hospital is staffed by 3 board–certified pediatric surgeons who have extensive experience in general and pediatric surgery. Our pediatric surgeons address the surgical needs of children of all ages, from extremely premature infants to 21 years of age, with a variety of conditions including infections, injuries, tumors, endocrine disorders, chest wall abnormalities, congenital malformations, as well as some Urologic and Head and Neck conditions.
- The role of the Physician Assistant will be able to participate in a rotating 24hour in house on-call schedule covering in patient, emergency room and trauma consults as we are a Level 1 Trauma Center; The PA will be responsible to cover daytime clinic, work with residents/fellows/attendings, and participate in educational conferences weekly
- Procedures expected to perform will be G-tube changes, I&D
- (Sunday to Saturday based on call schedule needs)
