- Perform general physical examinations
- Collect and record, in proper format, medical and social data appropriate to the patient’s condition. Maintain medical records in accordance with AHS procedures
- Plan and initiate proper treatment within the PA’s defined privileges and scope of practice of the clinic
- Perform clinical management
- Monitor Quality Improvement Program
- Perform functions under the guidance and supervision of the Medical Director
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel as necessary
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies – qualified by academic and practical education to provide patient care services
Skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to care for consumers in Board and Care facilities
- Leadership experience required: acts decisively and takes effective action
- Assists in and handles the development and maintenance of clinic practices and policies
- Attention to detail
- Works harmoniously with others
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrates the ability to respond positively and quickly to changing circumstances
