Raleigh Family Practice (RFP), PA is seeking an experienced family physician assistant to join our team starting in the Fall of 2024. RFP is a provider-owned practice that provides acute, chronic, and preventive care for patients of all ages. Since 1998 our practice has provided high quality primary care in a warm and friendly environment. We pride ourselves on treating patients as we would treat our own families and fostering a positive, productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities include:

Demonstrate knowledge and skill to care for patients of all ages, including infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Provide appropriate care based on approved guidelines for chronic illness, preventive care, and acute care.

Knowledge and implementation of age and gender-appropriate screening guidelines for all patients

Knowledge of OSHA Regulations for Blood Borne Pathogens, Needle Stick Prevention, and Hazard Communications; and attend required OSHA training yearly.

Provide Care based on practice population and complete cultural competency training.

Use Motivational Interviewing Techniques to assess barriers to care.

Assess patients’ health literacy.

Provide patients with self-management tools and evaluate behaviors affecting healthcare.

Provide sound medical advice while on call and document it in the patient record.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.

Achieve NCCPA Certification.

Hold a current license with NCMB.

Hold a current DEA license.

Provide acute, chronic and preventive care to patients of all ages.

Effectively communicate with patients and staff in order to offer appropriate care.

Work toward meeting quality measures to ensure we offer quality, cost efficient care.

Use EHR to document patient visits, patient history, prescribe medications and other patient care related activities.

Cover on-call responsibilities: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month, including at least one holiday a year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
