Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, medical histories, and assessments for children and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions, including common illnesses, infections, and chronic conditions.
- Administer vaccinations, perform routine check-ups, and provide preventive care.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and therapies according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Virginia
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
