$110,000.00 – Up to $200,000.00

Central Coast Allergy and Asthma is seeking Full Time Physician Assistants to join our reputable specialty practices in Salinas and Monterey, California.
Led by some of the best in their field, Central Coast Allergy and Asthma has been serving the Monterey and Salinas area for 45 years.

Our team is expanding, and we are looking to bring on medical professionals who have a genuine interest in helping people and who possess an intellectual curiosity to try and do things better and more efficiently. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
  • Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and access patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Competently renders treatment in anaphylaxis reactions.
  • Records physical findings and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition.
  • Discusses cases with physicians and other health professional as needed, to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan.
  • Manages a schedule of 16-22 patients a day in 15-20min intervals within 6 months of training completion.
  • Documents all patient care in the EMR system within 24hrs for billing.
  • Must prep adequately and timely prior to patient care.
Skills Required:
  • Current PA License.
  • Time Management proficient to keep up with daily schedule.
  • The ability to work and think independently, with high attention to detail.
  • Possesses high emotional intelligence.
  • Professional in appearance, demeanor and with team communication.
  • Must possess the skill of FLEXIBILITY as in medicine things change quickly with schedules, patient loads, staff support etc.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure with patients and with the team.
  • Must bring only positive energy and contributions to our team.
  • Being bilingual in Spanish would be a plus. There is a bilingual pay differential.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed in our salary posting for transparency but may vary based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, incentive eligibility and geographic location. This base pay range is specific to California and can vary based on Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions which may not be applicable to other locations.
