Charles County Neurology is a busy, privately owned neurology practice that provides exceptional patient care. Our team is passionate about advancing the field of neurology through innovative treatments and compassionate service. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team.

**Position Overview:**

We are looking for either a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant with a strong interest in neurology. While experience in this specialty is preferred, it is not required as we are willing to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM and focuses on outpatient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conduct patient assessments including health histories and physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, EEGs, etc.
• Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records using our electronic health record system.

**Qualifications:**

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Maryland
• Strong interest in specializing in neurology; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
