Full Job Description
Gastroenterology Center of Tampa Bay is looking for qualified and experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Brandon, FL Clinic. This is a part time position. Gastroenterology is preferred.
*Candidates are eligible to begin immediately upon the successful interview process*
Duties include but are not limited to:
– Report to the Clinic daily and provide quality patient care- Perform in-person patient consultations- Perform physical exams- Maintain patient records- Prescribe medications- Develop treatment plans- Treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, access and provide plan of treatment for diagnostic testing, procedures, and patient care.- Report to Medical Director for any issues- Follow up on patient’s labs, orders, and referrals- Maintain open and direct communication with Medical Director and Office Administrator
Familiar with EcWorks program is preferred.
License/Certification (Required):
– Florida FNP license (Required)’Autonomous License (preferred)- Florida PA license or- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing- DEA License (Required)- Medicare/Medicaid enrollment FL (Required)- CAQH- Stay up to date with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid training- Spanish speakers (preferred)
Competences:
Ideal Candidates will possess excellent communication, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a highly professional environment.
Previous Gastroenterology experience.
