Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week outpatient contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric SLP position located at the Pavilion for Women and Children campus, which houses comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU
- Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5×8-hour shifts)
- No weekends required
- No floating within the unit required, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR — experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted SLP license (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Pediatric or outpatient SLP experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Position is located at the Pacific Campus (Pavilion for Women and Children), less than 1 mile from the Colby Campus
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Scrub color is open, though reddish-orange is not permitted
- Facility covers parking costs
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all RTO requests should be disclosed upfront
