Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Location: Sandy, Utah (7400 South & 1300 East)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (No weekends)

Pay Range: $52–$58/hour

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated NP or PA who:

  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Is friendly, engaging, and collaborative with patients and staff.
  • Is adaptable, flexible, and enjoys a team-oriented environment.
  • Has experience (or interest in training) in diabetes management, insulin pumps, and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Welcomes opportunities to grow into other endocrine specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients through physical exams, patient history, and diagnostic testing.
  • Manage diabetes care, including insulin dosing, pump adjustments, and preventive care.
  • Interpret glucose monitor data and adjust treatment plans.
  • Provide education on nutrition, insulin use, and health maintenance.
  • Offer evaluation and management services via telemedicine.
  • Document all care in electronic health records (Elation EMR).
  • Support quality control, staff training, and clinic operations.
  • Stay current with medical knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Active, unrestricted state license and DEA registration.
  • Board certification as NP or PA.
  • Current BLS/ACLS (PALS if required).
  • 3+ years of clinical experience (preferred).
  • EMR experience (Elation experience a plus).
  • Telehealth experience.
  • Strong patient focus and communication skills.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $52.28 – $57.91/hour (based on education, experience, skills, and market data). Salary increases and performance incentives are available.
