Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing psychiatry practice. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to evaluate and manage a wide range of common psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage common psychiatric ailments (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, etc.)
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising psychiatrist
- Prescribe and monitor medications as appropriate
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) in TX
- Psychiatry experience preferred (some prior experience is a plus, but not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
