Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents in various settings, including outpatient clinics and home care. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of pediatric health issues while collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients, including physical examinations and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in children, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Provide home care management and plan of action to patients and guardians of the patient.
- Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-9 coding for diagnoses and treatments.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatric Nursing.
- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) is preferred.
- Previous experience in pediatric care settings such as medical-surgical units or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in performing procedures such as catheterization, dialysis, suturing, and emergency interventions is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively teach patients and families about pediatric health issues.
- Experience working with toddlers and young children is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
