Job Title:

Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) – Pediatric Urology

Position Type:

Part-Time with Opportunity for Full-Time Growth

Location:

Bellaire and Missouri, TX

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing pediatric urology practice. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a board-certified pediatric urologist in both clinic and surgical settings, with a clear pathway to transition into a full-time position as the practice expands.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical (1–2 days per week):

  • Evaluate and manage pediatric patients (newborn through age 18) with genitourinary conditions
  • Obtain histories, perform physical exams, and develop assessment and treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Assist with in-office procedures (e.g., circumcisions, catheterizations, minor procedures)
  • Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR

Surgical (1 day per week):

  • First assist in the operating room for pediatric urologic procedures
  • Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  • Coordinate surgical cases and assist with perioperative management

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current Texas PA license (or eligibility)
  • NCCPA certification required
  • Pediatric or surgical experience preferred (urology experience a plus, but not required)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work with a strong team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule:

  • Part-time: Approximately 2–3 days per week
  • 1–2 clinic days
  • 1 OR day
  • Flexible scheduling may be available
  • There is the ability to grow to a full time position.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
