Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) – Pediatric Urology

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing pediatric urology practice. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a board-certified pediatric urologist in both clinic and surgical settings, with a clear pathway to transition into a full-time position as the practice expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical (1–2 days per week):
- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients (newborn through age 18) with genitourinary conditions
- Obtain histories, perform physical exams, and develop assessment and treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Assist with in-office procedures (e.g., circumcisions, catheterizations, minor procedures)
- Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
Surgical (1 day per week):
- First assist in the operating room for pediatric urologic procedures
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Coordinate surgical cases and assist with perioperative management
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Texas PA license (or eligibility)
- NCCPA certification required
- Pediatric or surgical experience preferred (urology experience a plus, but not required)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work with a strong team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Part-time: Approximately 2–3 days per week
- 1–2 clinic days
- 1 OR day
- Flexible scheduling may be available
- There is the ability to grow to a full time position.

We are a small pediatric urology practice in the Bellaire and Missouri city area. Our practice fosters a small, close-knit work environment where every team member is valued and supported. Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
