Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and health history documentation
- Assist physicians with diagnostic evaluations, medical procedures, and treatment planning in primary care
- Administer injections, perform suturing, and execute aseptic techniques adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as ECW for accurate data collection, medical records management, and documentation of clinical encounters
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Proven experience in primary care clinic
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform physical examinations, intake assessments, and vital signs measurement accurately
