Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience, working nights with weekend rotation.
Details
- Night shift position: 3×12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Expected patient ratio of 1:4–5
- Weekends required: 6 shifts per 6-week period
- Floating between all facilities within the state is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- EMR: Epic (required)
Requirements
- Active RN license — Texas (TX) or Compact license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff at this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem), including location and dates
