Description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience and active TX license for a 13-week travel contract at a children’s hospital Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
Details
- Children’s hospital setting within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 staff beds
- Pediatric patient population with a 20:1 patient-to-RT ratio
- Day shift, 5×8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- No float, on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- Epic EMR required
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Active Texas Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience
- ARRT certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Open to first-time travelers
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal to no RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Galaxy Blue or Royal Blue scrubs required for Radiation Therapists
