Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure adherence to safety standards, and maintain high-quality service across our hotel facilities. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitor cleaning procedures for industrial, commercial, and hotel environments to uphold cleanliness excellence
- Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and oversee team performance to optimize productivity
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure consistent standards are met
- Enforce safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace safety regulations
- Support the recruitment process by assisting with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial settings
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for industrial, hotel, and commercial spaces
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Excellent organizational skills for scheduling, inspections, and reporting
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is highly desirable
Pay: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour
