Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care settings, demonstrating expertise in patient assessment and critical care management. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include admitting patients from ED.
- Manage acute conditions in diverse patient populations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and focused patient evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- 7 nights on/7 nights off
- Skills
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems .
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine settings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
