Full Job Description
Master’s degree in physician assistant or Nursing with a specialization in a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physician Assistant and/or Psychiatric ntal Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care, possess excellent clinical assessment skills, and have experience with EMR systems.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients’ mental health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide psychotherapy and medication management for patients with psychiatric disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance mental health practices.
- Provide urgent care services as needed, including basic life support and airway management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in physician assistant, or Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in pain management techniques and spinal tap procedures is a plus.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
