Job Description:

  • Must be able to work a full time, 40-hour work week
  • Provide pain management care to new and follow-up patients in an office setting, supervised by a physician.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, treat medical conditions, prescribe medications (to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinical regulations) as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Order diagnostic tests, interventional procedures and refer to other specialties as needed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Participate in coaching patients to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention in accordance with MIPS guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Recognize the need for addiction counseling in patients struggling with substance abuse.
  • Create detailed and articulate office notes outlining treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements to Apply:

  • Active Texas license
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and clinical research pertaining to pain management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Knowledge in eClinical Works is a plus
  • Being bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
