SITE MANAGER, IRAD/Physician Assistant – (Temple/Chestnut Hill Hospital – 40 hours days)

Responsible for oversight of the Interventional Radiology at Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital. Manages the Policies and Procedures and ensures. Manages all IRAD staff, Nurses and Technologists. Teaches staff special procedures techniques, ensures the quality of examination performed by staff and coordinates scheduling with referring physicians and radiologists. Maintains inventory controls, equipment repairs and quality control equipment file, logging downtime, PM’s and related issues. Supervises the computer scheduling of outpatients by IRAD staff. Maintains and prioritizes employee work schedule, attendance and payroll records. Ensures the department is compliant with Joint Commission, State and regulatory procedures and all regulatory requirements. Work alongside the TUHS management team to facilitate future growth within the IR Department at Chestnut Hill Hospital. Treats and evaluates patients by administering advanced care within IR under the supervision of the licensed physician. Performs patient care activities in accordance with the expertise, scope of practice and licensure guidelines and in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician. Coordinate with IRAD Radiologists, Nurses, and Technologists to provide quality, safe, and efficient care. Education Bachelors Degree: in a health related field (Required) Non Degree Program : Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. (Required) Other : Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. (Required) Experience 2 Years experience as a physician assistant (Required) 5 Years experience in Radiology or related imaging field (Required) 3 Years experience in a supervisory position. (Preferred) General Experience in special procedures (CT, MRI, or Ultrasound) (Preferred) License/Certifications RT(R) – Reg Technologist (R) (Required) BLS – Basic Life Support (Required) MPA-LIC – PA Medical Physician Asst Lic (Required) NCCPA – Certified Physician Assistant (Required) _
