Full Job Description
An established orthopedic practice in the Media, PA area is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role. Candidates with 1-2+ years of orthopedic surgery experience will be considered first.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position, focus on hip & knee
- Monday-Friday schedule – mix of clinic/OR
- 4 clinic days (8am-4:30pm), 1 OR day per week
- 1:6 call schedule (PHONE only)
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in Orthopedics is preferred. Candidates with experience in relevant surgical specialties are also encouraged to apply.
- Licensure: Current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain).
- Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and strong clinical procedural skills.
