Advanced Practice Providers – APRN or PA

We are seeking team-oriented Advance Practice Providers who are conscientious, competent and interested in a collaborative environment with GI physicians. Physician group has been providing the highest quality medicine for almost 3 decades and enjoys a well-established patient base and excellent relationships with referring physicians. The group is partnered with the largest healthcare system in Oklahoma for Ambulatory Surgery Center Endoscopy.

Role:

· Office visits – managing GI conditions

· Clinical Trials optional

Minimum Requirements:

· Credentialed APRN or PA in good standing

· Licensed to practice in Oklahoma

· Willing to expand clinical knowledge in the field of GI medicine

· 2+ years’ work experience as an APP

· Preference to candidates with GI experience

Job SummaryThe Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within a healthcare setting. This position involves working closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. The APRN will utilize their advanced clinical skills in various settings, including acute care and specialized fields such as gastroenterology. A commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities are essential for success in this role.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer injections and perform various laboratory procedures as required.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical practices, particularly in anatomy knowledge and botulinum toxin treatment.
  • Participate in clinical research or teaching opportunities within a teaching hospital environment.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs, particularly those with disabilities, ensuring accessibility to care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
  • Proven experience in patient care, particularly in acute care settings.
  • Familiarity with gastroenterology practices is preferred.
  • Experience administering injections and conducting laboratory tests.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and related medical knowledge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and advocacy.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
