Job Description:
Role Overview:
Join MSK as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and be part of a dynamic, passionate team of over 900 NPs and PAs making a profound impact in cancer care! In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with patient financial services, physicians, and healthcare team members to secure authorizations for critical radiology scans, ensuring patients receive the comprehensive care they need. You’ll utilize our innovative, centralized Salesforce system to streamline authorization processes and act as a clinical expert, working with external vendors to overturn insurance denials. With autonomy in planning and prioritizing, you’ll make a tangible difference by completing peer-to-peer calls and supporting patient outcomes. This is a role where your expertise will continually grow, with opportunities to participate in radiology education, process improvement initiatives, and engaging team meetings. Key Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NJ and NY licenses or eligible to obtain both
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required
- Experience in Oncology is required
- BLS certified
OR
- Active NJ and NY APN/NP licenses/registrations or eligible to obtain both
- Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- 2+ years of related clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Experience in Oncology required
- Related National NP certification
- BLS certified

Additional Information:
Hours: 7am-7pm flex hours
Location: 100% remote
Reporting to: Manager, APP
Pay Range: 144k-182k
This role is open to new grads and experienced APPs
