Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and critical care.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current licensure in the applicable state.
- Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency room, ICU, or outpatient clinics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, CPT coding, ICD coding (including ICD-9 and ICD-10), and documentation standards.
- Experience performing procedures like venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, phlebotomy, and aseptic technique.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Critical care experience or working within Level I or Level II trauma centers highly preferred.
- Ability to handle complex cases involving pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, or occupational health.

Pay: $84,611.84 – $101,898.13 per year
