Hematology Oncology Associates of CNY (HOACNY), voted one of Central New York’s Best Places to Work, is looking for a Full Time Advanced Practice (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work Monday -Friday 8 hour shifts at Crouse Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Syracuse and Auburn. Inpatient Oncology Advanced Practice

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Works within a collaborative model to provide quality care and to improve patient outcomes by strengthening continuity of care in all settings for cancer patients, families and staff.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program / Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree required.
  • Authorized to Issue prescriptions pursuant to Section 6902 (3) (b) of the Education Law having completed instruction satisfactory to the department in New York State and Federal laws and regulations relating to prescriptions and record keeping and in accordance with the practice agreement and practice protocols.

1-2 years inpatient PA or NP experience preferredPossession of a NY State Registered Nurse license. ANCC or ANA certification and NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification.Possession of a NYS Physician Assistant license-NCCPA Board Certification
