Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner ( or PA) to join our growing team. The NP ( or PA) will work collaboratively with our sleep, pulmonary and allergy specialists to provide comprehensive care, including initial consultations, follow-ups, and treatment management.
Duties
- Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations for sleep, pulmonary and allergy patients
- Interpret sleep studies, pulmonary function tests, and imaging
- Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy and oxygen prescriptions
- Diagnose and treat conditions such as sleep apnea, insomnia, asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and treatment adherence
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff
Qualifications
- Active NP/PA license in New York State
- Experience in sleep medicine or pulmonology preferred, but also willing to teach
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Familiarity with CPAP/BiPAP devices and sleep study interpretation preferred, but willing to teach
- Multilingual is recommended but not mandatory.

Pay: $55.00 – $75.00 per hour
