A busy outpatient specialty practice in Brooklyn is looking for an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality dermatologic care in a collaborative clinical setting.
We’re seeking a motivated provider who is confident managing both medical and procedural dermatology and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly compensation and the chance to work alongside an experienced team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
Please note: Applicants must have at least 2 years of recent dermatology experience. Candidates without dermatology experience will not be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions.
- Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, lesion removals, cryotherapy, and other office-based treatments.
- Create individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications when appropriate.
- Educate patients on treatment options, skin care, and preventive measures.
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using an electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient, patient-focused care.
What We’re Looking For
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current national certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical dermatology experience is required.
- Excellent clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
