Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Physician’s Assistant or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and providing comprehensive psychiatric services to our short-term rehab and long term care patients in skilled nursing.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders- Prescribe and manage medications- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals and groups (as needed)- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options

Join a team that provides psychiatry services to geriatric and adult patients. We treat treatable issues such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. You will be a part of an integrated team with a primary care physician and nurse practitioner, and Psychologist or LPC. To give you maximum flexibility and lifestyle options we designed our system with a scheduled presence model with a round and go set up- facilities staff based on patient care needs, allowing providers to focus on patient relationships, outcomes, and facility needs. You will be on a team that takes a collaborative team-based approach to patient care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year

Experience:
