McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-time Physician Assistant to to float as needed among its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs in the Western North Carolina regional facilities (Hickory, Statesville, Lenoir, Marion).
How will you help us achieve our mission?:
- You’ll admit clients to all substance use disorder treatment modalities (primarily MAT services)
- You’ll also conduct medical assessments, including medical and substance use histories and physical exams
- Ordering medical tests and medications, as well as assessing medical problems and providing referrals will also be a large part of your role
What are the qualifications needed for this role? We’re looking for a Valid North Carolina PA or NP License, full unrestricted DEA licensure, NC controlled substances database access, as well as experience in EKG interpretation
