Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Urgent Care
Location: Roselle Park, NJ Schedule: ~30 Hours Per Week Salary: $80 – $90 per hour
A growing urgent care group in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Roselle Park. This is a strong opportunity for a provider looking for a consistent schedule with a good work-life balance while still working in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Schedule
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Rotating every other week:
– Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM OR – Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview
The provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality urgent care services to a diverse patient population. This role requires strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing including labs and imaging
- Perform procedures as needed ( suturing, wound care, etc. )
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey
- Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience required
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
