The Pre-Admission Testing Advanced Practice Provider will serve as a Full Time APP, providing pre-anesthesia evaluations and medicine consult to patients at Upstate Health Care Center.
Responsibilities include providing expert level clinical care and coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care assessing and evaluating patients, ordering appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies, arranging for referrals, testing, consultation, and therapeutic services, maintaining outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians and all members of the health care team.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant & current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. Have a NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.
CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Anesthesia, surgical, and/or hospitalist experience preferred.

Monday – Friday, Days
