Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our outpatient primary care team.The ideal candidate will primarily provide care to adult patients. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver thorough and individualized care in a supportive clinical environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide primary care services including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for adult patientsManage acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and health educationCollaborate with supervising physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care planPerform procedures and order diagnostic tests within the scope of practiceMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic medical systemsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocolsCoordinate patient referrals and communicate with specialists and community resourcesDeliver care that is culturally sensitive and tailored to the needs of a diverse patient population
QualificationsLicensed Physician Assistant in New York StateCurrent DEA registration requiredCertified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Strong knowledge of outpatient clinical workflows and EMR systemsExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to serving diverse and underserved communities

Pay: $140,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
