Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in patient care under the supervision of our physicians, providing high-quality medical services to our patients.
Duties:- Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical treatment- Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, suture, gastric lavage, and medication administration- Assist in surgeries and procedures in the operating room (OR)- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention- Conduct addiction counseling for patients in need- Participate in medical research activities
Requirements:- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation- Ability to perform tasks such as ventilating patients and managing airways- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a healthcare team.
Full-time ONLY. A driver will meet the provider where the patients are located (a meeting point can be provided. No house pickups) 12 patients a day face to face in each borough assigned area, cluster patients in each borough. 200-300 patients for each provider. 8:30am starting until you reach the daily quota. number of working days by 10 then it will be 55/per patient.
Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience with addiction counseling- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures- Familiarity with gastric lavage techniques
